Bernard Lievegoed was a distinguished physician, educator, and industrial psychologist. He founded the NPI, which pioneered new approaches to business management. For his book Man on the Threshold, Professor Lievegoed was awarded the Golden Quill literary award of the Netherlands Publishers' Association.
